Rolf Christof Dienst founded our group of companies in 1991 and, with unparalleled commitment and unwavering enthusiasm, developed it into one of the market leaders in European venture capital. He was a fatherly mentor and trusted friend to many current and former employees, in some cases for decades and even long after he had retired from active employment. It was impossible to resist his charisma and charm. His contribution to building the venture capital culture in Germany is unsurpassed. Supporting founders and young companies was his greatest passion, and he led many of them to great success.
Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
