Biography
Lisa joined as a Investment and Corporate Development Manager in 2025, having previously supported Wellington in H2 2024 on a secondment basis.
Prior to joining Wellington Partners, Lisa worked for 5 and a half years as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting in the Life Science division. During this time, she led strategy and transactional projects across different therapeutic areas and markets for various pharma, biotech and private equity clients. Additionally, she undertook a year-long secondment at AstraZeneca, supporting the data and analytic team for a blockbuster oncology drug and for the U.S. precision medicine function.
Lisa was awarded a D.Phil (PhD) in Molecular Cell Biology in Human Health and Disease from the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology at the University of Oxford, UK, for her work in fundamental research into the structure, regulation and dynamics of centrosome and centriole assembly. Her work culminated in articles published in Cell, Developmental Cell, Journal of Cell Biology and Cell Science. Lisa was the recipient of a Departmental Prize Studentship for her D.Phil and was awarded a Departmental Post-Doctoral Extension Award to continue her research.
