TRiCares – Treating insufficiency in function of the tricuspid valve

TRiCares is a clinical-stage company that is developing a minimally-invasive trans-catheter valve replacement system, Topaz system, to alleviate moderate-to-severe insufficiency in the function of the tricuspid valve. Topaz system has successfully undergone preclinical testing, including bench/in-vivo experiments and successfully completed a 3-month GLP animal study, and TRiCares is currently assessing the safety and clinical performance of Topaz system in patients with advance disease under compassionate-use regulation, with first implantations achieving complete correction of the tricuspid regurgitation.
